Located in Ontario, California, Amy’s Farm is a working sustainable, organic non-profit farm, focused on promoting health, sustainability, and fostering the surrounding communities. They have all manner of livestock and produce on the farm, as well as a Farm Stand where they sell the many delicious fruits of their labor. The farm is open to the public and free to visit during normal business hours, but they also offer guided tours, where kids can get hands-on farm life experience by milking cows or feeding greens to some of the gorgeous animals living there. Tours are available Monday-Saturday at varying times, and do require a minimum reservation of 10 guests ages 2 and up. The cost of guided tours varies between $8-10 per person, so make sure you have your group ready before you call and reserve your tour time! It’s a great way to teach kids about where their food comes from, while helping an organization that does so much good for its surrounding communities.
